A Spice to enhance the flavour of your dishes, if you are wishing to add a touch of Portuguese / Spanish flavour to your food.

** Make a great stew, by adding wine and olive oil to the spices

** Use for fish stews like marinara mix, calamari, or pipis and mussels

🥘 RENDANG 🥘

If there’s one dish that defines Indonesian cuisine, it’s Rendang: usually beef, braised in a spicy coconut stew that takes several hours to cook. By the time it’s finished, the meat is incredibly tender and the flavours are so rich, you really need to eat it with rice to neutralise things a little.

Rendang is not an easy spice mix to get right – but Chef Bel nailed it. It comes in a 120g sachet and that will make 4 meals – so it’s pretty economical.

Whilst it’s best with beef, there’s no reason why you couldn’t do a lamb, chicken or even a vegan Rendang by using strong, moreish veggies like eggplant, peas, carrot, mushrooms and/or pulses like chick peas

🥘 BUTTER CHICKEN 🥘

It's easy with our ready made mix, now available in an eco-friendly pouch.

Fragrant and easy to use, the fenugreek adds an aroma that is both a surprise and a warm delight!

🌮 MEXICANA 🌮

Use this versatile spice in your home made fillings for Tacos, Nachos, Fajitas, Enchiladas and more!

** To make chilli con carne, fry some mince in onion, add 3 tbsp Mexicana spice, add a can of tomatoes and a can of red kidney beans… Easy Peasy!

** Make an amazing filling of chicken or fish - cut in strips, then stir fry with your spices and add a can of sweet corn.

🥘 MASALA MILD 🥘

Belicious Masala Mild (enough for kids) is a dry Curry Spice, full of flavour, very little heat, soft on the palate and and with less "pieces" than the other sisters (Masala Medium and Masala Hot) to appeal more to kids. Many families have told us that their kids did not like curries, until they tried our Masala Mild!

It can be used in slow cooking, fast cooking, stews or roasts. It contains the ingredients and the flavour you need to create authentic Indian flavour.

How much to use:

Just add 2-3 tablespoons for a family meal, taste and add more if you wish.

Cooking with Belicious Masala

Use your creativity to design your own dishes, or you may want to follow some guidelines;

Traditional:

Sauteé onion, add your veggies, protein and masala, then choose your sauce base.

You may prefer:

a) Creamy and milky: (coconut milk, bechame, yogurt)

b) Tangy (Tomato, Mango, Capsicum, etc)

c) Stock

Cook until done

Bakes / Stir fries / Slow cooking / Bakes:

Just add masala while doing your normal cooking

Each creation has been made, tried and tested by our own head chef, Bel; who has lived in blended love with two culturally fused families and travelled the world in search of gastronomic experiences.
